Intel's secret information about the upcoming 15th Gen Arrow Lake processor has recently surfaced. Important information related to hyperthreading, a key feature of Intel processors, has been spotted by the German news site 3DCenter.org . Hyperthreading increases the total number of CPU threads and provides better scheduling of current tasks. The classified material was leaked by X (ex-Twitter) user @yuuki_ans and has since been deleted. Now, leaked Intel documents show that the company may be planning to move away from hyper-threading altogether ! This is a huge change in processor architecture design. In addition, Intel is moving to a new type of core configuration for future processors.

For many workloads, including gaming, the effect will be minimal . Older processors benefited greatly from hyper-threading, but this is not equally true for modern chips. Among the new features, this Arrow Lake platform is also expected to come with an NPU for AI processing. Even with the disappearance of hyperthreading, Intel should be able to use a more efficient manufacturing process (Intel 4 or better) to provide a good increase in the performance of the new generation.
